Revitalization of the bustling area near by Meitetsu Miyoshigaoka Station (Miyoshi City, Aichi Prefecture)

Our lab. is developing practical activities such as demonstration experiments and citizen surveys in cooperation with the government, residents, and civic activities aiming to revitalize the liveliness of the public facilities near the station. Our lab. is not limited to theoretical research, but we also emphasize practical activities in the community!

NITTC DORMITOWN Project
(Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture)

This project is conducted in the mountainous area (Sasado-cho) of Toyota City, where students of NITTC, local residents, and elementary school students work together to experience nature, such as rice planting and harvesting, planned and lectured by the students. This project was initiated in 2015 and is managed primarily by our lab.

Our lab. participates in a charrette workshop in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture, as our target area, where we stay on site for a week every summer to discuss ideas for solving local problems. Faculty and students of architecture and civil engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Nagano KOSEN (National Institute of Technology, Nagano College) and other KOSEN participates.
